This famous brand, originated in 1845 and was one of Cuba’s major brands through the time of the nationalization. In 1974, this version appeared, made in Jamaica. Production shifted to the Dominican Republic in 1978 and has been one of the most sought-after U.S. brands. It continues to use only the highest quality Cameroon wrappers which, combined with tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Mexico, gives it a spicy, medium-to-full-bodied flavor.
